This project begins with a question: can fear be inherited like a physical trait? Rooted in childhood experiences of loss and shaped by a learned ritual of discarding, the work reflects on absence, memory and the afterlife of objects once their owners are gone. Moving between used goods markets and the artist’s own home, it traces the human residue held in abandoned possessions: letters, clothing, photographs, domestic fragments, and asks what remains of a life when its details are left behind. Through this search, the project becomes both a personal excavation and an act of resistance against disappearance, using the image as testimony, repair and memory.
